Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Training and Development Advisor to shape how attorneys learn, grow, and excel. You’ll partner with practice groups to surface skill gaps through assessments and translate insights into targeted training strategies.

You’ll design competency models, curate content and trainers, and collaborate with leadership to deliver scalable programs that elevate performance. You’ll build relationships with practice group leaders, align with senior leadership, and help create

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience; JD acceptable for preferred track.
• Ability to analyze training needs across practice groups and translate into strategy.
• Experience coordinating with leaders, trainers, and vendors to deliver programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for practice groups and develop knowledge of work and talent priorities.
• Build relationships with Practice Group Leaders and partners to discuss development needs.
• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
• Translate feedback into actionable training strategies and priorities.
• Develop and maintain competency models and benchmarks with leadership.
• Collaborate on training program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Curate internal and external content and trainers for learning priorities.
• Source and vet trainers and coordinate with providers for workshops.
• Support department-wide, scalable infrastructure for attorney development.
