Job summary

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP seeks a Legal Training and Development Attorney to shape the growth of non‑partner lawyers across our U.S. offices.

You will design, implement, and refine training programs, partnering with partners and leadership to align with firm strategy and client service goals. In this collaborative role you will champion best practices, integrate legal technology and Gen AI into curricula, track progress, and foster a culture of continuous professional development across

Qualifications

• 7+ years of substantive attorney experience.
• Strong project management and presentation skills.
• Legal and workplace technology fluency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with partners on training strategy and vision.
• Drives training development, execution and implementation with input from management.
• Leads monthly Training Council meetings for the Business Unit.
• Identifies training needs with stakeholders and creates relevant programs.
• Tracks associate training and aligns with benchmarks.
• Collaborates with Innovation team to champion legal tech and AI training priorities.
• Maintains training inventory on Orrick’s learning platform.
• Identifies synergies across units and conducts regular needs assessments.
