Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA Inc. is seeking a Training & Development Leader to shape capability across the factory by designing, deploying, and managing training systems that drive engagement and performance.

You will partner with factory leadership, Operations, HRBPs, and support teams to ensure training aligns with standards, while applying adult learning methods and lean principles to deliver measurable results in workforce readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Training & Development, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience designing, administering, and delivering training programs.
  • Hands-on experience with lean management systems.
  • Experience in fast-paced, matrixed manufacturing environments.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication across diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead training and development programs to build skills and engagement.
  • Partner with HUB leadership, Operations, HRBPs, and support functions to identify training needs.
  • Enhance onboarding programs for faster productivity.
  • Track and analyze training KPIs to improve outcomes.
  • Execute training plans aligned to business and operational goals.
  • Maintain and optimize training systems to measure learning effectiveness.
  • Develop training materials and empower trainers to deliver impactful sessions.
  • Drive accountability for training through learning insights.
