Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an HSE Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver training across the organization, empowering employees and contractors to work safely and responsibly. You will shape learning experiences that advance safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence.

With 5+ years of HSE training experience and strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001 and 45001, you’ll collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to implement learning solutions and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and delivering HSE training programs.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Proven ability to design effective adult learning and workforce development programs.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning tools.
• Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Your Background

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and delivering HSE training programs, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Proven experience designing effective adult learning and workforce development programs.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools.
• Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience applying Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHMM, OHST, or Train-the-Trainer.
• Ability to travel occasionally to support multiple Hitachi Energy locations.
