Job summary

CMA CGM in Norfolk, USA is seeking a Trade Pricing Analyst to support strategic pricing, vessel management, and operational efficiency within the Trade team. This role collaborates with internal departments to optimize planning and financial performance while aligning pricing with business strategy.

With 3–5 years in general export experience, you will drive data-driven decisions, negotiate effectively, and help implement new tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in export-driven maritime operations preferred.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Proven negotiator with cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily updates on sales activity and pricing inquiries.
• Collaborate with Trade, Equipment, Intermodal, Procurement, Cargo Flow, and Customer Service to optimize vessel planning and asset utilization.
• Support audits with relevant data and performance insights.
• Develop pricing strategies, routing plans, and manage customer allocations.
• Monitor vessel performance and budget adherence; propose corrective actions.
• Participate in strategic discussions for new initiatives and tool implementations.
• Communicate proactively with Trade and Commercial teams to identify growth opportunities.
• Contribute to special projects supporting departmental goals.
