Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director to lead the implementation of procurement category strategies for Third Party Manufacturing (TPM) across packaging and drug product. You will partner with Directors and VP-level stakeholders to deliver end-to-end sourcing and procurement execution.

In this role you will drive supplier strategy, manage cross-functional relationships, and champion cost savings, sustainability, and risk management while enabling strategic decision-making and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or related function.
• Experience managing teams and leading supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic procurement strategies with stakeholders.
• Contribute to annual strategic plan for the category with cost analyses and TCO.
• Analyze spend patterns to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and insights for decision-making.
• Manage supplier relationships to secure collaborative partnerships and savings.
• Drive sustainability, compliance and risk management initiatives with suppliers.
• Support end-to-end procurement from sourcing to contract execution.
• Partner with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business priorities.
