Job summary

Willdan Group, Inc. seeks a Sr. Director, Total Rewards to shape and lead a comprehensive rewards strategy across the U.S. and Canada. You will advise executives on best practices for compensation, benefits, recognition, and absence management programs while partnering with legal, finance, IT, and vendors.

You will drive the evolution of total rewards programs, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement across multiple locations and disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in compensation and benefits, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proficient in HRIS and compensation analysis tools.
• Experience designing and implementing total rewards strategies and technology systems.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the Company’s comprehensive Total Rewards strategy across US/Canada.
• Provide strategic direction for compensation programs and incentives for all levels.
• Evaluate effectiveness and align rewards with business and talent strategies.
• Collaborate with HR business partners, leaders, and stakeholders; manage vendor relationships.
• Develop and manage the budget for benefits and compensation programs.
