Job summary

The Manager of Therapy Services at MacNeal Hospital, part of Loyola University Health System, leads rehabilitation operations across PT, OT, and SLP programs in alignment with the system’s vision and strategic plan.

This role partners with the department director, oversees staff, quality improvement, budgeting, and compliance, and represents Rehabilitation Services in hospital and community teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PT/OT/SLP, Master’s preferred.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years in acute care/outpatient hospital with increased responsibilities.
• 3–5 years of managerial experience.
• Licensed PT/OT or SLP credentials per licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees program implementation to assure defined outcomes and high-quality patient care.
• Develops annual strategic plan for Rehabilitation Services with program director.
• Manages hiring, discipline, performance evaluations and staff training.
• Fosters cross-disciplinary relationships with physicians and hospital teams.
• Represents Rehabilitation Services in hospital, network, or community committees.
• Develops quality assurance initiatives and monitors benchmarking activities.
• Develops and administers a departmental budget and capital requests.
