Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Test Planner and Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end test strategies for DoD and national security programs. This hybrid role requires embedding rigorous T&E requirements and coordinating with commercial vendors, PMs, and service test organizations to deliver decision-ready evidence for rapid fielding.

With 5+ years in T&E and experience with CSOs/OTAs, you will navigate regulatory gating (flight clearances, spectrum, safety, cyber) and travel up to 30% to support range

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DoD or national security T&E planning and management.
• Experience with CSOs and OTAs and non-traditional acquisition.
• Strong engineering literacy in Aeronautical, Electrical, Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and obtain US Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end test strategies by translating operational needs and vendor capability claims into structured test plans. Define key MOPs, MOEs, M&S vs. physical range methodologies, and data requirements.
• Embed T&E requirements, milestone evidence, and rapid iteration cadences into non-traditional acquisition pathways (CSOs, OTAs) from pre-solicitation through post-test reporting.
• Guide projects through regulatory gating including flight clearances, airworthiness, spectrum allocations, safety, and cybersecurity authorities to secure approvals early in the lifecycle.
• Act as a central integrator connecting commercial vendors, Government Program Managers, and Service test organizations to generate decision-ready evidence that accelerates military fielding.
• Draft clear, technically sound test plans and deliver executive-level documentation to influence project decisions without requiring direct operational ownership.
