Job summary

Dark Wolf is seeking a Test Planner and Manager (TPM) to lead end-to-end test strategies for DoD programs. You will translate operational needs into structured test plans, define MOPs/MOEs, and align modeling approaches with regu-latory requirements across a multi-organizational team.

The role requires up to 30% travel, strong executive communication, and a security clearance. Hybrid work in the Southwest US with a salary range of $150,000–$175,000.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct experience in test planning and test management within defense or national security domains.
• Governance experience with non-traditional acquisition pathways (CSOs, OTAs).
• Strong engineering literacy in a relevant discipline (aeronautical, electrical, systems, cybersecurity).
• Deep knowledge of military and federal regulatory processes (airworthiness, spectrum, safety, cyber).
• Outstanding executive writing, briefing, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end test strategies translating operational needs into structured test plans.
• Embed TE requirements, milestone evidence, and rapid cadence into acquisition pathways (CSOs/OTAs).
• Navigate regulatory gating to secure early approvals across authorities.
• Coordinate with vendors, Program Managers, and service test organizations to produce decision-ready evidence.
• Draft clear test plans and executive summaries to influence decisions.
