Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business Management or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Seven (7) years of experience within transformational Technology departments (public safety, dispatch or government entities preferred).
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive leadership experience managing multidisciplinary Technology teams in high-performance environments.
• Must have Colorado driver's license with clear driving record.
• Must obtain CPR within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for the Technical Services bureau and aligns goals with SMFR’s mission.
• Develops short- and long-term plans and promotes continuous improvement across the bureau.
• Manages budgets, resources, and staff; oversees contracted personnel and vendor relations.
• Oversees enterprise applications and technology infrastructure to meet organizational goals.
• Advises Executive Team on strategic systems, investments, and risk, including security and disaster recovery.
• Fosters a customer-centric, collaborative, and innovative environment.
