Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Tech Risk Assurance Lead to strengthen the firm’s technology risk posture. You will define and maintain control requirements, partner with stakeholders across Change, Incident, and Event Management domains, and lead analytics-driven assurance initiatives.

The role focuses on applying risk frameworks (NIST/ISO/GDPR) and leveraging AI capabilities to deliver risk-informed decisions at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on tech risk assurance concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with technology systems and cyber or technology risk management activities.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, risk management frameworks, and best practices (NIST, ISO, FFIEC, GDPR).
• Technical proficiency in AI risk governance and data security, including AI threats and mitigations.
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support risk and controls workflows with proper oversight.
• Experience applying data analytics to risk identification, control testing, and assurance.
• Ability to influence executive-level strategic decisions and translate tech insights into business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain technology control requirements with stakeholders, ensuring measurable outcomes.
• Apply risk and control expertise across Change, Incident, and Event Management domains.
• Build partnerships with security officers, assessment teams, and product leads for cross-functional progress.
• Prepare detailed risk assessment reports and recommendations with tracked closure.
• Govern, monitor, and evaluate control effectiveness; identify gaps and strengthen posture.
• Develop analytics-driven assurance approaches for risk identification and mitigation planning.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate synthesis of risk evidence and executive reporting.
