Job summary

The Judge Group in Richfield, OH seeks an IT Procurement & Contracts Specialist to forecast, plan, and manage hardware, software, and IT services contracts across the organization. You will maintain annual maintenance and service agreements, govern licenses, support budgeting, and ensure ISO 27001 compliance and proper governance across teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in IT or related field with strong negotiation skills, Excel proficiency, and software licensing knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Excellent software negotiation and contract management skills (required).
Strong practical understanding of enterprise computing hardware and software.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, pivot tables, charting, data analysis).
In-depth knowledge of software licensing models, including open-source agreements (required).
Experience managing a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA) is a plus.
CSAM, CPSM, or similar technology procurement certifications is a plus.
Experience managing enterprise cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills alongside exceptional organizational abilities.
Service-oriented mindset with a focus on internal customer support.

Responsibilities

Negotiate and finalize contract details as required.
Research hardware and software requirements across all organizational departments upon request, ensuring an optimal balance of price, quality, delivery, and vendor service.
Monitor supplier performance, manage vendor issues, and transition suppliers when necessary.
Oversee contract management for all IT suppliers and vendors, including ongoing vendor risk management.
Assist in the budgeting process for internal IT departments.
Create, track, and submit purchase requisitions and orders.
Research, request, and process all technology capital expenditures.
Track orders and approve incoming invoices.
Document, update, and maintain IT procedural and policy documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and other relevant industry security standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
