Job summary

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Group is seeking a business-savvy technology leader to partner with the CTO and senior leaders to align the business plan with the technology roadmap and delivery plans. You will oversee the design, development, and operation of applications and services supporting key capabilities using modern digital technology, agile practices, and DevOps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, technology, business, or related field; Master's preferred.
10-15 years of progressive technology leadership experience.
Experience partnering with stakeholders and software/data analytics teams.
Strong business and technical acumen with a track record of building scalable solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including board-level materials.
Experience applying Big Data, microservices, cloud, and integration tools.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CTO and senior leaders to align architecture, roadmap, and delivery with strategic goals.
Oversee design, development, and operation of apps, systems, and services.
Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
Evaluate and adopt new tech such as cloud, microservices, big data, and AI.
Coach teams and drive negotiation, conflict resolution, and friction reduction.
Measure success with KPIs, manage budgets, and align plans with IT framework.
Ensure security, data protection, and regulatory compliance across activities.
