Job summary

Trouw Nutrition in Friona and Comanche, Texas seeks a Technical Sales Representative for Feed Additives & Premix. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and sales teams, delivering value through specialized product knowledge and industry expertise.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Animal Science or related field and 3–5+ years in technical sales within livestock. Travel is frequent within the territory; you will collaborate with producers, nutritionists, and operations to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, or related field.
3-5+ years of technical sales, nutrition, or livestock industry experience.
Strong knowledge of feed additives, premixes, nutrition programs, and animal production systems.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support and consultation to customers and sales teams.
Conduct farm visits and work directly with customers.
Interpret field data and provide recommendations related to nutrition, production, housing, transport, and equipment.
Support sales activities by identifying customer needs and developing value-based solutions.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, customer training, and educational programs.
Assist with product trials, implementation, and technical problem-solving.
Collaborate with internal teams including sales, marketing, product development, quality, and manufacturing.
Contribute to process improvements, customer communications, and industry outreach activities.
Maintain technical expertise through ongoing training and professional development.
