Job summary

Basepoint Building Automations in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Recruiter to drive outbound sourcing and manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years of direct outbound sourcing recruitment experience.
• Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics.
• Understanding of technical roles in building automation, controls, or related industries preferred.
• Experience developing talent pipelines and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and social recruiting tools.
• Exceptional consultative skills with ability to partner effectively with hiring managers.
• Strong candidate assessment capabilities, particularly for technical roles
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement proactive sourcing strategies via LinkedIn Recruiter, networks, direct outreach, and other recruiting techniques to build talent pipelines.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical positions.
• Leverage market intelligence to identify talent pools and establish effective outreach approaches.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition to offer extension to onboarding for all non-signatory positions across the organization.
• Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand role requirements, providing strategic guidance on talent market conditions.
• Collaborate with hiring managers on candidate assessments, sharing detailed screening insights and making thoughtful recommendations based on technical and cultural fit.
• Conduct regular consultation meetings with hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with evolving business needs.
• Manage job requisitions, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
• Prepare offer packages, manage negotiations, and ensure smooth transition to onboarding.
• Utilize ATS to track candidate progress, maintain accurate records, and generate performance analytics to share with hiring managers and Director of Human Resources
• Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of recruitment channels and talent development programs.
• Design and lead school-to-work transition and internship programs that create sustainable talent funnels.
• Collaborate with HR team members to ensure seamless handoff of new hires at orientation.
