Job summary

GS Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to track cost, technical, and quality aspects from proposal through closeout, serving as the client POC and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You will apply the Product Realization process, support proposal development with Business Development, manage project risks, schedules, and resources to meet client expectations, and act as SME in relevant technical areas. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manages the technical execution of projects and serves as the main point of contact (POC) to a client during the duration of a project.
• Utilizes the Product Realization process to manage projects from opportunity to closeout.
• Assists with or leads proposal development with collaboration from members of the Business Development team.
• Manages overall project risk and elevates risks to the Management Team as applicable, leads risk mitigation activities where appropriate.
• Maintains project schedules and coordinates personnel resources, works with Engineering Manager and other Project or Program Managers to develop resource strategies to meet client expectations.
• Performs role of subject matter expert (SME) in technical areas that align with past performance.
• Performs supervisory functions including performance reviews and day-to-day management tasks (timecards, etc.) for direct reports.
• Participates in the support and continual improvement of GS Engineering’s Quality Management System.
