Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to independently lead cross-functional programs from definition to completion. You will coordinate with SRE, Product, and Engineering teams, drive roadmaps, and manage complex initiatives with senior stakeholders involved in delivery.

You will champion agile mindsets, define project plans, track dependencies and risks, and help remove blockers to keep initiatives on track across the CTG Strategy & Operations group.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in technical or engineering disciplines and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with SDLC and metric definition best practices.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with Agile, SAFe, or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Leading program plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource management, communication plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Acting as the voice of the program to senior leadership, leveraging standardized methods to highlight dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Building relationships across SRE, Product and Engineering organizations to keep projects on track.
• Driving cultural change by championing agile mindsets and ensuring the organization adheres to industry best practices.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for escalation with stakeholders and assist in the removal of blockers.
