• Evaluates design choices for scalability, latency, security, and data integrity.
• Works with ambiguity to move projects forward.
• Communicates direction clearly up to 3+ levels.
• Collaborates with external providers to accelerate roadmaps.
• Understands engineers' and ops needs for services.
• Reviews metrics and seeks better data for visibility.
• Mentors and recruits others.
• Anticipate bottlenecks and plan contingencies.
• Define success metrics where needed.
• Resolve discordant views via constructive dialogue.
• Improve development processes and test plans.
• Streamline repeated processes across architecture and ops.
