Job summary

Amogy is seeking a Technical Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist II to support commercialization of ammonia-to-power technology. You'll build the supplier ecosystem, qualify vendors, and translate learnings into strategic sourcing and contract-manufacturing handoff.

The role combines procurement discipline with technical curiosity, NPI experience, and outsourced manufacturing oversight to ensure qualified supply for prototype builds and scalable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent technical procurement experience will be considered.
• 6+ years in technical procurement, supply chain planning, sourcing, supplier management, inventory management, or commercialization of engineered products.
• Experience identifying/qualifying suppliers through prototype/pilot/NPI builds and transitioning learnings to contract manufacturers.
• Ability to interpret BOMs, drawings, specifications, datasheets, and statements of work.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and qualify equipment suppliers, fabricators, technical service providers, and sources for equipment aligned with product roadmap and scale-up.
• Lead RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs with bid analysis and supplier selection based on technical fit, capacity, quality, cost, and lead times.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality to define source-controlled items and supplier documentation requirements.
• Maintain approved supplier lists, scorecards, risk maps, and supplier development decisions.
• Procure materials for internal prototype and development builds to validate supplier capability.
• Translate BOMs/ drawings into supplier bid packages and purchase orders; manage first-article and technical documentation.
• Coordinate supplier participation in trials, inspections, nonconformance resolution, and post-build learnings.
• Create contract-manufacturer-ready sourcing packages and align procurement ownership with CM partners.
• Support ERP/MRP data integrity and inventory planning for prototype and production readiness.
