Job summary

MissionHires seeks a Technical Product Manager to own strategy, roadmap, definition, and lifecycle management for RF, DSP, FPGA, and mixed-signal embedded COTS solutions. This high-visibility role blends engineering insight with product leadership across engineering, sales, customers, and leadership to bring rugged, mission-critical products from concept through launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field required.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded markets.
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems, and DSP concepts.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into product definitions and business cases.
• Experience with embedded electronics and embedded software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain product strategy for RF, DSP, and FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps informed by customer needs and technology trends.
• Translate system requirements into actionable product definitions and requirements.
• Define concepts and support NPI from requirements through launch.
• Build business cases and present investment recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements, architectures, and priorities.
• Evaluate competitive products and embedded computing form factors.
• Manage product profitability, revenue, costs, and portfolio lifecycle decisions.
• Engage with sales and customers to identify opportunities and requirements.
• Provide technical support during RF, DSP, FPGA, and embedded-system discussions.
• Create technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
• Monitor portfolio performance and advise on enhancements or lifecycle changes.
