Job summary

Gables Search Group is seeking an RF/DSP Product Manager to lead strategy and roadmap for a portfolio of FPGA-based processing and mixed-signal RF products. You will translate complex customer applications into commercially viable solutions and collaborate with engineering, sales, customers, and suppliers.

The role offers significant autonomy, deep technical engagement, and the chance to shape a sophisticated product line across RF and DSP domains, including defense or advanced communications

RF/DSP Product Manager

We are recruiting an RF/DSP Product Manager to lead the strategy and roadmap for a highly technical portfolio of FPGA-based processing and mixed-signal RF products. This role requires someone who can understand complex customer applications, identify technical tradeoffs, and translate loosely defined problems into commercially successful solutions. You will have significant autonomy while partnering with engineering, sales, customers, and technology suppliers.

What You’ll Do

• Own the 12- and 36-month RF/DSP product roadmap
• Translate customer requirements into existing, upgraded, or entirely new product solutions
• Build business cases and go-to-market plans for new product investments
• Develop a deep understanding of the current portfolio and products in development
• Engage directly with major customers alongside sales leadership
• Evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and vendor capabilities
• Support decisions involving pricing, revenue, margins, inventory, and product lifecycle
• Lead product requirements, new product introductions, and portfolio planning

What We’re Looking For

• Deep systems-level knowledge of RF and DSP products
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures and mixed-signal technologies, including ADCs and DACs
• Experience with applications such as electronic warfare, radar, SIGINT, SDR, or advanced communications
• Product management experience involving roadmaps, market analysis, business cases, and product launches
• Confident customer-facing communication with the technical credibility to lead complex discussions
• Background in electrical engineering, RF systems, signal processing, or a related technical discipline
• Defense, aerospace, rugged embedded, or COTS experience is helpful but not required
• VPX, OpenVPX, and SOSA knowledge may be learned after joining
