Job summary

ERM, the leading global sustainability consultancy, seeks a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice across North America. Hybrid role; based in any US office.

You will lead business development, provide senior leadership in ecological resources, and mentor multidisciplinary teams while expanding ERM's market presence. You will manage client planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases, developing long-term partnerships and delivering complex environmental solutions

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, incl. endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement within Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and permitting programs.
• Support clients through planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.
• Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth.
• Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and quality objectives.
