Job summary

3M Ventures in Minneapolis, MN is hiring an Investment Director to lead its corporate venture capital investment activities at its headquarters. You will manage the full investment lifecycle from deal sourcing through portfolio management and exit.

Collaborate with 3M business leaders to develop deal structures and strategic partnerships; represent 3M Ventures at industry conferences and in the startup ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of Corporate Venture Capital or Venture Capital experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
• On-site at 3M Center, Minneapolis (4 days/week).
• Up to 25% domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3M venture investments aligned with strategic interests.
• Manage the full investment lifecycle from deal sourcing through exit.
• Coach and mentor investment team members.
• Collaborate with 3M leaders to develop deal structures and partnerships.
• Represent 3M Ventures at conferences and in the startup ecosystem.
