U.S. Bank is seeking a Risk Oversight Automation and Intelligence Lead to provide independent technology risk oversight across Digital, Systems and Cybersecurity Risk Oversight.

The role blends analytics, automation, and risk judgment to identify and translate risk signals into actionable oversight actions. The candidate will develop and enhance analytical and workflow capabilities, design dashboards, and evaluate AI/ML governance impacts while collaborating with 1LoD, data teams, and other

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in technology risk management, IT governance, audit, or similar oversight function.
• Strong ability to analyze data and communicate findings to decision-makers.
• Experience with statistical/pattern-detection methods and automation tools in risk domains.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent technology risk oversight assessments per 2LoD standards.
• Identify emerging risk signals across risk data, programs, and issues.
• Translate analysis into risk narratives, opinions, and reduction opportunities.
• Design and apply analytic methods to detect trends and anomalies.
• Develop automation, monitoring, and reporting using Power BI, Power Apps, and ServiceNow.
• Build dashboards to support risk aggregation and executive decisions.
• Evaluate AI/ML governance implications for risk oversight.
