Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Risk Oversight Intelligence and Automation Lead to provide independent technology risk oversight across DSCRO. The role emphasizes analytical capability, automation, and risk judgment to identify signals across risk data, programs, and processes.

The ideal candidate translates findings into oversight opinions, designs dashboards with Power BI, Python, and SQL, and collaborates with 1LoD/2LoD teams. Strong communication and mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically more than six years of applicable experience.
• Experience in technology risk management, IT governance, audit, or independent oversight within a regulated financial institution.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to translate analytical output into risk narratives and remediation recommendations.
• Proficiency with Power BI, Python, SQL, and related data tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent technology risk oversight assessments across DSCRO in line with 2LoD standards.
• Identify and evaluate emerging, aggregate, and thematic risk signals from risk data, programs, and audits.
• Apply risk judgment to determine materiality and potential risk reduction.
• Translate statistical analyses into clear risk narratives, oversight opinions, and actionable recommendations.
• Design dashboards and reporting tools to support risk aggregation and executive decision-making.
• Evaluate AI/ML-enabled tools for governance and oversight implications.
