Job summary

Peraton seeks a Senior Adviser in Technical Project Management to support the customer leadership team in shaping strategic plans and a business framework for a portfolio of advanced technology projects. The role emphasizes strategic communications, work plan development, and progress tracking, with regular updates to management to ensure goals are met.

Qualifications

• Experience with external engagement planning and execution.
• Broad knowledge and experience with project/portfolio management methodologies.
• Demonstrated skills in analytical problem-solving techniques and reporting.
• Experience with oversight, organization, and coordination of interrelated technical projects based on defined goals.
• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 7 years with Ph.D.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Experience in generating risk assessments, developing risk mitigations and implementation.
• Ability to support customers with the capture and documentation of strategy development and production of briefing material for senior leadership.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project
• Ability to capture data and integrate it into presentations
• Experience with programmatic activities including tracking actions, documenting meeting minutes

Responsibilities

• Support the customer leadership team in developing strategic plans and providing a business framework to manage their portfolio of advanced technology projects.
• Prepare and present updates regularly to relevant management channels to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
• Define requirements, manage risk, allocate resources, and prioritize projects.
• Engage with customers and coordinate with teams to document strategy development and briefing materials for senior leaders.
• Track actions, document meeting minutes, and monitor progress against plans.
