Job summary

GitLab, the intelligent DevSecOps platform, is seeking a Manager, Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations for critical technology suppliers. You’ll collaborate with CIO/CTO/CISO leaders, drive category strategies, and advance procurement processes with an emphasis on AI-enabled insights.

You’ll report to the Senior Director of Procurement and work with stakeholders across finance, legal, IT, and security to optimize spend and deliver measurable cost

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and complex contract negotiation.
• Experience procuring software as a service, cloud infrastructure, or other technical products and services.
• Understanding of procure-to-pay processes and procurement operations. Zip or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing and contract negotiations for software, cloud, infrastructure, and other technology suppliers.
• Develop category strategies to support CIO, CTO, and CISO organizations.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance programs, including hyperscaler and cloud partners.
• Conduct spend analysis and market intelligence within assigned categories.
• Collaborate with Finance to forecast demand and manage category budgets.
• Identify savings opportunities while balancing cost, risk, and quality.
