Job summary

MetLife is seeking a Principal, Corporate Technology Strategy & Portfolio Management to drive strategic planning, portfolio governance, and transformative initiatives across Corporate Technology. You will shape vision, priorities, and execution with Technology leaders supporting Marketing, HR, Security, CRM, and AI-enabled initiatives.

The role requires 10–12+ years in tech leadership, strong stakeholder influence, and experience delivering large-scale programs in a matrixed enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology leadership, strategy, portfolio management, or transformation.
• Experience leading programs in large, matrixed environments.
• Strong ability to translate strategy into measurable execution and business value.
• Excellent influence, communication, and relationship management with senior stakeholders.
• Deep expertise in technology strategy, roadmaps, governance, and investment prioritization.
• Experience with organizational transformation, change management, and performance measurement (OKRs).
• Proven people leadership with AI-enabled delivery approaches.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute technology strategies aligned with enterprise objectives.
• Support portfolio planning, investments, and multi-year roadmaps across Corporate Technology.
• Develop executive-level communications and strategic recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for AI-enabled transformation and modernization to improve outcomes.
• Lead operating model evolution and governance improvements across the organization.
• Advise senior leaders on enablement strategy, readiness, and capability investments.
• Foster collaboration across business and technology functions to accelerate value delivery.
