Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in fast-paced, product-led environments.
• FinTech domain expertise with stock market concepts and regulatory awareness.
• Strong backend with Python and async frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Frontend experience with React/React Native is a plus for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with financial data structures, ledger modeling, and ORM usage (SQLAlchemy).
• Hands-on DevOps and cloud experience (AWS/GCP) and CI/CD familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale high-performance REST and WebSockets/APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Ingest real-time stock feeds and historical datasets with strict data consistency.
• Lead hands-on coding, code reviews, enforce financial security best practices, and mentor engineers.
• Own all SDLC phases from scoping to CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and post-production support.
• Build and maintain scalable containerized infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and analysts to translate roadmaps into actionable technical tasks.
• Diagnose bottlenecks, optimize SQL queries, implement caching, and maintain observability.
