AMSOIL INC. is seeking a Director of Business Technology Strategy at our Superior, WI location. The role partners with senior leaders to align business priorities with technology opportunities and shape enterprise technology direction.

The candidate will own enterprise application strategy, lead capability planning, and evaluate emerging technologies to maximize investments and reduce debt, while guiding modernization and long-term roadmaps across the organization.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders to identify and implement tech-enabled business solutions.
• Experience with enterprise application strategy, business capability planning and modernization.
• Strong business acumen to understand strategies, processes and operational challenges.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with business leaders to understand objectives, opportunities and challenges.
• Serve as a strategic technology advisor to business and technology leaders.
• Partner with business leaders to translate business needs into technology-enabled opportunities.
• Lead enterprise business capability planning to identify gaps, duplication and improvement opportunities.
• Own and maintain enterprise application strategy in partnership with technology leaders.
• Guide application portfolio rationalization to maximize investments and reduce technical debt.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, automation and AI-enabled opportunities to improve performance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver value.
• Shape long-term technology vision, roadmaps and future-state planning aligned with priorities.
• Evaluate technology investments and provide recommendations based on value, alignment, cost and risk.
