Job summary

AT&T Mobility Services seeks a Principal, Technology Strategy & Planning to align infrastructure strategy with financial performance and investment decisions. You will translate complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations driving value realization across technology services.

Lead cross-functional collaboration, develop robust business cases, and govern investment processes while maintaining a strategic view of priorities and outcomes within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in CS or Business; 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience in technology business management, technology finance, strategic planning, portfolio management, investment governance, product economics, or related discipline.
• Strong business and financial acumen across budgets, forecasts, actuals, variance analysis, cost allocation, business cases, investment scenarios, benefits, and financial risk.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize business, financial, operational, and strategic data into concise executive insights for decision-making across a matrixed organization.
• Establish common management practices for technology economics, investment governance, business cases, OKRs, and value realization.
• Maintain visibility into progress of strategic priorities, objectives, and key results; identify gaps needing leadership action.
• Govern and develop business cases with problem definition, alignment, costs, benefits, risks and value realization expectations.
• Help leaders prioritize investments by framing alignment, value, financial implications, constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Integration Leads to align financial insights with portfolio roadmaps and major decisions.
• Interpret financial actuals, forecasts, variances, risks; translate into clear options and recommendations for senior leaders.
• Direct finance resources to develop analyses, forecasts, and investment scenarios to support decisions.
• Help evolve technology economics; develop unit-economics views for services, apps, infra, and related domains.
