Whitley Penn is seeking a Tax Manager focused on Partnerships and Private Equity to join our Tax department in Dallas, TX. The role emphasizes managing engagements, supervising staff, and delivering accurate returns and projections for diverse clients.

You will lead complex tax reviews, research issues, and ensure adherence to professional standards while fostering strong client relationships and opportunities for firm growth.

Competenze

• 5+ years of Public Accounting experience.
• Strong background in partnerships and private equity taxation at both the portfolio company and fund level.
• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Master's degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Mansioni

• Lead engagements from start to finish, supervising associates and coordinating workflow.
• Review and prepare 1065, 1040, 1120, 1120S tax returns, estimates, extensions, and projections.
• Conduct technical tax research and ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws.
• Identify tax issues and provide guidance to ensure accurate tax deliverables.
• Manage client relationships and identify opportunities for value-added services.
