Job summary

City of Seattle seeks a Talent and Workforce Compliance Manager to lead recruiting strategies for SPR, drive inclusive hiring, and oversee compliance across temporary hiring, job descriptions, and Workday maintenance. The role emphasizes equity, collaboration with internal clients, and building scalable processes.

The successful candidate will establish recruiting standards, partner with HR and leadership, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and City regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Business, or related field.
• Minimum five years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in public sector/corporate settings.
• Two+ years leading HR service delivery teams.
• Experience matrix-managing talent acquisition resources.
• Proficiency with ATS and HCM systems; knowledge of Workday and NeoGov.
• Experience sourcing and attracting talent via traditional and passive methods.
• Knowledge of federal/state employment laws and EEO/AA requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead best-practice recruitment strategies for SPR and recruit for Director-level positions.
• Develop and deliver training for hiring managers on equitable hiring practices.
• Oversee ATS (NeoGov) administration and recruit metrics reporting.
• Manage PDQ process and position management for the department.
• Collaborate with City HR Talent teams to implement city-wide processes.
• Oversee HRIS functionality (Workday) and coordinate data quality improvements.
