Job summary

Sentara is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sourcer) in Virginia Beach, VA to partner with hiring managers and HR to anticipate hiring needs and source top talent. The role focuses on strategic recruitment, diverse candidate sourcing, and building strong pipelines across healthcare and corporate roles.

The position requires 2 years of HR/recruitment experience with a Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years with a HS Diploma) and may involve travel to recruitment events.

Qualifications

• Two years of HR experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED are required.
• Recruitment experience is strongly preferred
• Previous experience in Recruitment (Corporate, Health Plans, Healthcare) strongly preferred
• Candidates in the Hampton Roads footprint (within 50 miles of 1330 Sentara Park, Virginia Beach) strongly preferred to attend recruitment events
• Previous experience organizing, hosting virtual and in-person recruitment events and ability to travel to events
• Experience building Talent Pool, experience with CRM tools to build talent pipeline

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify strategic recruiting solutions.
• Manage the recruitment process for all open positions in assigned business units with a focus on sourcing top talent.
• Execute and facilitate the overall recruitment strategy, including screening, interviewing and testing.
• Project future employment needs, create recruitment plans, and improve the employment process.
• Lead projects and address a high volume of positions across diverse roles
