Job summary

Dechert LLP in Washington, DC is seeking a Talent Recruiting Specialist to support the full recruitment cycle for legal and business services roles. You will coordinate postings, source candidates, screen applicants, and manage interview logistics with hiring teams.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent Recruiting, you will maintain candidate records, assist with offers, and collaborate with Search Firms and Marketing on materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years recruitment experience.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems such as LawCruit or ViRecruit and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate posting of open positions to internal and external channels.
• Source candidates, review resumes, and document all candidates through the recruiting process.
• Conduct preliminary screening interviews for business services roles and present hiring managers with shortlists of qualified candidates.
• Schedule and confirm interviews between candidates and hiring teams; manage all interview logistics.
• Prepare offer letters and related documentation for review by the Associate Director and Director or Talent Recruiting.
• Maintain candidate tracking documents and adhere to file retention policy; maintain statistics on U.S. recruitment.
• Help update recruiting materials and career-site content in partnership with Marketing.
• Establish and maintain relationships with search firms, and work with search firms to advertise available positions.
• Organize search overviews with headhunters and hiring managers as needed for specific roles.
• Assist with fee agreement renewals, invoice reviews for search firms, and reimbursement of expenses related to hiring, under supervision.
• Support special projects and other administrative tasks assigned by the Director or Associate Director of Talent.
• Perform additional duties as assigned for the efficient operation of the department, office and firm.
