Job summary

Prairie Field Services is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to design and execute full-cycle recruiting strategies across multiple regions. You will partner with leaders to forecast workforce needs and strengthen the employment brand while supporting marketing efforts including social media management.

The role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers, with emphasis on DOT requirements and compliance. Collaboration with hiring managers is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience.
• 1+ year of marketing and/or social media management experience.
• DOT hiring experience preferred; familiarity with DOT requirements.
• Experience in trucking, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Maintain knowledge of operations, hiring needs, and compensation packages to guide candidates.
• Screen applicants, interview, manage MVR processing, and ensure DOT/internal standards are met.
• Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and deliver offers for exempt and non-exempt roles.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the process about benefits and job expectations.
• Manage social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn) and support content creation.
• Use diverse recruiting methods: career fairs, online events, networking, and social media.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and draft job descriptions.
• Develop staffing forecast dashboards and provide data on results vs projections.
• Maintain recruiting metrics and weekly updates for leadership.
• Manage pipelines through ATS and ensure data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies.
