Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Benefits and Recruiting Specialist based in West Warwick, Rhode Island. This role handles full-cycle recruitment for RI, IL, and CA sites and administers benefits using ADP Workforce Now.

You will work closely with site leaders and HR leadership to build a strong talent pipeline and ensure accurate benefits support. You will coordinate open enrollment, manage new-hire onboarding, and stay compliant with state and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent combo of education and experience considered.
• 3–7 years of progressive HR experience in recruiting and benefits administration.
• Experience supporting multiple sites or states; manufacturing/industrial preferred.
• Unionized workforce experience is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS/ATS/benefits platform.
• Strong knowledge of federal laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ACA) and state variations.
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills with employees and leadership.
• High discretion and judgment with confidential information.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• PHR, SHRM-CP, or CEBS preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, and skilled-trades roles across RI, IL, and CA sites.
• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, schools, and partnerships.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate offers.
• Administer benefits via ADP Workforce Now; open enrollment coordination.
• Coordinate pre-employment steps including background checks and I-9/E-Verify.
• Maintain relationships with staffing agencies and community organizations.
• Ensure compliance with pay scales, leave laws, and COBRA as applicable.
• Monitor recruiting metrics and report to VP of HR.
• Support workforce planning and HR projects.
• Maintain confidential HR data in ADP Workforce Now.
