Job summary

Bradford in West Warwick, RI seeks a Recruiting & Benefits Specialist to manage full-cycle recruitment and benefits administration across three sites. The role reports to the VP of Human Resources and requires handling union/non-union sites with strong judgment and privacy.

The position emphasizes building a strong talent pipeline, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring benefits compliance across RI, IL, and CA contexts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field is required or equivalent.
• 3–7 years of progressive HR experience in recruiting and benefits.
• Experience across multiple sites or states is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, ACA).
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/ATS.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, salaried, and skilled-trades roles.
• Administer group health, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k).
• Lead open enrollment and benefits communications with vendors.
• Coordinate pre-employment steps and onboarding paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with state union and non-union requirements and reporting.
• Maintain confidential employee records and report recruiting metrics.
