Job summary

Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles. You will attract qualified candidates, ensure a positive candidate experience, and help managers fill positions efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This temporary-to-permanent assignment lasts up to 90 days with potential conversion to a regular full-time role if performance targets are met. Experience in manufacturing or operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers at all levels.
• Experience recruiting for manufacturing or operational positions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition through offer and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and ideal candidate profiles.
• Develop and post compelling job advertisements across platforms.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
• Review resumes and conduct initial screens to assess qualifications, experience, and fit.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Track candidate activity, interview status, and progress in recruiting systems.
• Assist with reference checks, offer letters, and pre-employment requirements.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
• Attend job fairs and recruiting events as needed.
• Provide regular updates to HR and hiring managers regarding open positions and recruiting challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies.
