Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. You will drive full-cycle recruitment, manage sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes, while ensuring confidentiality and professionalism across all candidate interactions.

You will collaborate with managers to attract experienced professionals, participating in career fairs and community events as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
• Onboarding experience preferred.
• Significant knowledge of HR functions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance, and DOT/FMCSA regulations preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain recruiting applicant tracking system (Workday) ensuring information is up-to-date for all open positions.
• Source passive and active candidates for hard-to-fill roles on platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, etc.
• Create, post and manage advertising needs on various social media platforms.
• Coordinate and conduct phone interviews for candidates.
• Assist with pre-screening and background checks and onboarding support for new hires.
• Manage the candidate experience from application to training completion.
• Maintain professional communication and confidentiality with candidates and employees.
