Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia's historic capital is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the organization’s recruiting function. You will drive full-cycle recruitment across hospitality, interpretation, performing arts, education, museums, and corporate roles, reporting to the AVP of HR People Operations.

You will coach recruiters, oversee operations, enhance sourcing strategies and employer branding, and partner with senior leaders to align talent needs with workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum five years of progressive talent acquisition experience across multiple roles and functions.
• Minimum three years of leadership or supervisory experience managing recruiting professionals.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers on strategy.
• Experience recruiting for complex, hard-to-fill, or senior-level positions.
• Experience with ATS and HRIS; using data to inform hiring decisions.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of recruiters responsible for full-cycle hiring across the organization, driving high-quality hiring outcomes.
• Develop onboarding coordination to ensure smooth transitions for new employees.
• Oversee recruiting operations, including workload prioritization and performance management.
• Design and implement recruiting programs to strengthen employer brand and attract diverse talent.
• Partner with senior leaders to align recruiting with workforce planning and business priorities.
• Provide guidance on hiring strategies, market insights, and negotiating offers.
