George Washington's Mount Vernon is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to lead and continuously improve our recruiting functions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in HR and recruiting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify recruiting platforms and develop multiple strategies to build a strong candidate pipeline.
• Lead recruitment strategies with leadership to tailor for each vacancy.
• Administer ATS (Paycom) postings, applications, and data accuracy.
• Ensure integrity and confidentiality of employment records in HRIS.
• Manage full cycle from requisition to onboarding and maintain Careers page.
• Use social media to expand MVLA profile and attract candidates.
• Track hiring metrics and influence recruitment strategies.
• Advise leaders throughout the hiring process and drive candidate experience.
• Support events, workforce planning, and job description updates.
• Coordinate staff functions and other duties as assigned.
