Job summary

Oakland University is seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead the Talent Acquisition function within Human Resources, overseeing recruitment workflows, candidate engagement, onboarding, and ATS operations, and collaborating with leaders to align hiring strategies.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field with at least four years of relevant experience, and will drive employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives to

• Oversee recruitment workflows, postings, candidate screening, offers, and onboarding processes.
• Lead talent acquisition team performance and optimize HR processes.
• Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and advise on recruitment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and EEO policies.
• Track key hiring metrics such as time to hire and cost per hire.
• Experience with ATS, preferably PeopleAdmin used by Oakland University.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Experience in employer branding and recruitment event management.
