Job summary

Oakland University is seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead the Talent Acquisition function within Human Resources, overseeing recruitment workflows, candidate engagement, onboarding, and ATS operations, and collaborating with leaders to align hiring strategies.

• Lead talent acquisition team performance and optimize HR processes.
• Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and advise on recruitment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and EEO policies.
• Track key hiring metrics such as time to hire and cost per hire.
• Experience with ATS, preferably PeopleAdmin used by Oakland University.
• Bachelor’s degree with at least four years of relevant experience.
• Experience in employer branding and recruitment event management.

This role manages daily operations of the Talent Acquisition function within Human Resources, overseeing team performance, recruitment processes, candidate engagement, onboarding, and the applicant tracking system while collaborating with leadership to align hiring strategies and improve hiring practices.

• Salary range from $77,026 to $90,000 annually with competitive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan contributions, and tuition assistance.
