The Department of Motor Vehicles in Virginia seeks a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to own full-cycle recruitment across the agency. You will partner with hiring managers, craft compliant job postings, and guide positions through approvals, ensuring alignment with state policies.

You will lead outreach and employer branding, coordinate assessments and onboarding, analyze recruitment data, and maintain audit-ready files.

Competenze

• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations governing recruitment and selection.
• Experience conducting full-cycle recruitment, including developing job postings, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates through the offer stage.
• Experience sourcing candidates through multiple methods, such as job boards, professional networking platforms, career fairs, referrals, and educational or professional partnerships.
• Experience developing structured interview questions and conducting screening interviews using structured interview techniques.
• Experience advising hiring managers on staffing needs, position requirements, recruitment strategies, and hiring processes.
• Experience delivering training or orientation sessions, such as interview training for managers or orientation for new hires.
• Experience planning and coordinating recruitment events, such as career fairs, information sessions, or hiring events, including logistics, materials, and staffing.
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with external partners, such as educational institutions, professional associations, community organizations, or veteran service organizations, to support recruitment outreach.
• Experience developing recruitment marketing materials and content, including social media content, to promote an organization as an employer.
• Experience coordinating pre-employment processes, including background checks, fingerprinting, and reference verification.
• Experience tracking and analyzing recruitment data, such as candidate sources, conversion rates, time-to-fill, and diversity metrics, and preparing reports with recommendations.
• Experience maintaining confidential recruitment records and documentation in compliance with policies, regulations, and retention requirements.

• Lead outreach and employer branding. Plan and staff career fairs, host information sessions, virtual events, hiring events, and open houses; build relationships with universities, community colleges, trade schools, professional associations, and veteran programs.
• Measure what works. Track sources, event conversion rates, ROI, time-to-fill, and diversity metrics; turn data into recommendations to improve recruitment.
• Deliver a smooth start. Coordinate background checks, fingerprinting, and reference verification; hand off new hire packages to HR Services; serve as a welcoming contact.
• Keep everything audit-ready. Maintain recruitment files per DMV policy, regulations, and retention schedules; keep dashboards current.
