Job summary

Bodewell Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Lead to drive recruitment strategy and candidate pipelines in a hybrid San Diego environment. You will advise hiring managers, post strategic roles, and source top talent across public affairs and outreach domains.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will own the full-cycle recruitment process, optimize time-to-close metrics, and help shape BWG’s talent strategy as the organization grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years recruitment experience in infrastructure, public affairs or related industry.
• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR) or equivalent education preferred.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment across BWG, from posting to offers.
• Develop sourcing strategies to build pipelines for public affairs, PR, and outreach roles.
• Maintain a strong industry presence and network through events and online channels.
• Advise hiring managers on market trends, candidate availability and risks.
• Collaborate with HR and leadership to forecast recruitment needs and initiatives.
• Develop job descriptions and postings that attract top talent and reflect BWG values.
• Ensure smooth onboarding in partnership with HR and maintain accurate candidate data in the HRIS.
