Merck & Co. is seeking a Territory Manager to support our Animal Health portfolio across the assigned U.S. territories.

The role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing strategic plans, and driving sales growth through collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position requires extensive travel (75%), relocation to within the territory, and flexibility with work arrangements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Animal Health sales and a proven ability to develop

Formación

• Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma and 12 years of Animal Health sales experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 8 years of Animal Health sales experience.
• Required Skills/Abilities include: Swine Industry sales, strong communication, data-driven problem solving, teamwork, adaptability to change, and independent account planning.
• Proficient computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and iPad usage.

Responsabilidades

• Communicates about product in a way that's meaningful and relevant to each customer; tailors discussions based on customer needs.
• Primary contact for assigned customers; meets with decision makers to understand structure and opportunities.
• Develop customer strategy and account plans; partner with national/account teams to drive sales growth.
• Collaborate across species teams to enhance knowledge of the product portfolio.
• Travel within territory and manage expenses per budget guidelines.
