Job summary

Bechtel seeks a seasoned Quality Surveillance Lead for a major construction project in Houston, TX. You will implement the project QMS and PQP, lead reviews, and drive corrective actions to mitigate performance risk.

Responsibilities include coordinating Surveillance teams, reporting on compliance, and ensuring alignment with project requirements across engineering, procurement, construction, and startup lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.
• 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of equivalent work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 standard requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises quality surveillance activities covered by the QMS and PQP.
• Leads reviews and determines surveillance program compliance with the QMS.
• Establishes and leads Surveillance teams.
• Prepare annual project Surveillance schedule.
• Prepares and/or supervises development of Surveillance reports.
• Assesses and monitors all project functions, including project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Reviews and monitors nonconforming conditions and corrective actions to ensure quality program effectiveness.
• Reviews and determines compliance with project quality control inspection and test plans.
