Job summary

Worley seeks a senior Manager, Supplier Quality Surveillance to lead programs across locations and projects in the Houston area. You will guide SQS Coordinators, align strategies with equipment criticality, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

You will develop tactical plans, oversee resources, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with project teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience including supervisory, project management, and/or technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading supplier quality surveillance, source inspection, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, fabrication quality, or related project quality activities.
• Experience managing or directing professional personnel, contractors, and/or third-party service providers across multiple assignments.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier quality surveillance principles, criticality-based inspection planning, inspection coordination, quality management systems, manufacturing and fabrication processes, and supplier quality documentation.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, contracts, engineering specifications, drawings, data sheets, codes, standards, inspection and test plans, quality plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities, project offices, and project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the effective implementation of supplier quality surveillance programs across assigned locations and projects.
• Ensure surveillance strategies, inspection levels, and verification activities are aligned with equipment criticality assessments and contractual and regulatory obligations.
• Provide direction for consistent use of Worley management systems, procedures, templates, and tools.
• Translate functional and business priorities into tactical SQS plans and resource strategies.
• Monitor program effectiveness and initiate corrective or improvement actions where performance or delivery risks are identified.
• Manage and direct the work of SQS Coordinators and cross-functional teams.
